Privacy and GDPR Statements

Odyssey PDA only captures and stores information related to your name, e-mail address, location and the groups you have chosen to join and attend.  If you have also shared details about your personal circumstances, family, or other contact details these may be kept confidentially for the purpose of offering support.   No details held will be shared with a third party without your consent, unless this is related to safeguarding, and details will never be passed on or sold to another organisation. 

Should you wish to be removed from the mailing list, there is an ‘unsubscribe’ link on the weekly newsletter or you can email support@odysseypda.co.uk requesting your email be removed from the distribution list.  Once requested, all identifying personal data held in connection with the support group will be deleted. 

Members of the Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire Hubs are invited to join a separate email list operated by the hosts of each Hub Group.  These are shared directly from our central database so if you choose to unsubscribe you will also be removed from the Hub Group.  Each Hub Group leader is responsible for keeping confidential any lists that are sent to them.  When sending emails everyone will be BCC’d for privacy unless there has been a specific agreement to be CC’d and you have agreed other members may directly contact you. 

Members of the ‘Caring for PDA Adults’ group are also invited to join a WhatsApp group, but this is undertaken on the understanding that this is at the Members own risk as Hilary and Odyssey PDA cannot guarantee to keep your personal data confidential within this media.
